Iowa’s drought conditions remained steady with less than one percent change from last week to this week. According to the National Weather Service, 4% of Iowa is in extreme drought, 17.6% is in severe drought, 36.4% is in moderate drought, and just under 65% of the Hawkeye State is abnormally dry. The extreme drought conditions are in the northwest corner of the state.
