Another COVID-19 death was recorded in Washington County over the weekend bringing the total up to 13. As of Sunday, Washington County has had 1,255 confirmed cases of the virus and 645 people have recovered. Statewide there have been 210,518 cases, 2,192 deaths, and 116,308 people have recovered. The number of COVID-19 hospitalized patients dropped to 1,340 over the weekend with 255 in intensive care, and 132 patients were on ventilators Sunday.

People are urged to avoid large gatherings, wash your hands frequently with soap and water, wear face masks in public, and practice social distancing to slow the spread of the virus.
