The Mid-Prairie wrestling team wraps up a busy week at New London Saturday for the Jeremy Fulk Classic. The Golden Hawks are 3-3 on the young season after dropping two of three duals at Wapello Tuesday to begin the year and rebounding to win two of three at home Thursday. The Hawks have posted victories over English Valleys, West Branch and Tipton so far while falling to Wapello, New London and Eddyville-Blakesburg. On Thursday in Wellman Mid-Prairie beat West Branch 54-24 and Tipton 43-42 on criteria.

The Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union and Lone Tree wrestling team is also at New London today. The Wildcats have an overall record of 1-0 on the young season after taking down Mount Pleasant Tuesday 58-24. In their dual with the Panthers, the Wildcats got wins in contested matches from Lane Scorpil at 113 by fall, Triston Miller at 126 by major decision 14-6, Will Hotz at 170 by fall, Trent Wilkerson at 195 by fall, and Kai Malone at 220 by fall.

Joining the Golden Hawks and Wildcats at New London today are BGM, Cedar Rapids Washington, Fort Madison, Illini West, Louisa-Muscatine, No. 2 Lisbon, West Burlington/Notre Dame/Danville, No. 10 Solon, West Hancock and the No. 5 Tigers. Action starts at 10a.m. and continues all day Saturday at New London High School.
