A bid to purchase real estate in the City of West Chester was approved during the recent Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting.

No comments were made during the public hearing regarding the sale of property described as Lots 6, 7, 8 and that portion of the 20-foot wide vacated alley lying adjacent to said lots all in Block 1 of Crayne’s Addition. One sealed bid was received of $6,500 from Brian Tobin, which the Supervisors approved. In other business, the Supervisors approved a personnel change request for jail employee Sarah Garrett to change from full-time to regular part-time and hiring Duane Royer as a non-exempt employee for the County’s Geographic Information System.
