A public hearing for a proposed vacation of a portion of 200th Street in Jackson Township will be held during the Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday.

The Board will also receive a fiscal year 2022 funding request from the East Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund, consider appointments to the East Central Iowa Council of Government Board of Directors and Board of Health, and consider a letter in support of Sharon Telephone Company’s USDA grant application for the expansion of broadband internet services. The meeting will also include a resolution for a local match for hazard mitigation, possible action regarding the Compensation Board’s salary recommendations for elected officials and budget guidelines for the fiscal year 2022 budget, and a COVID-19 update.

The Board meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
