The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team wrapped up a busy week on Saturday at the Jeremy Fulk Classic in New London. The Golden Hawks were sixth of eight teams with their score of 103 points. Lisbon was the team tournament champion with 249.5 points. The Golden Hawks crowned one individual champion on the day with Mose Yoder taking the title at 113lbs with wins by fall over Emmett Kruse of Fort Madison and Sawyer Callahan of BGM. Other top finishes for the Golden Hawks included Gannon Callahan runner-up at 285lbs, Ben Meader third at 182, Cael Garvey third at 195 and Josh Wallington third at 220. Mid-Prairie, with their 3-3 overall record, will next be in action Thursday when they host a home River Valley Conference triangular against Iowa City Regina and Monticello in Wellman.
