A new round of grant funding is available for eligible Iowa organizations or businesses that have suffered lost revenue or increased expenditures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Iowa Arts & Culture Recovery Program has been established with $7 million designated by Governor Kim Reynolds from the federal CARES Act. Applications for these grants will be considered for nonprofit cultural organizations, live music venues, and government-owned cultural venues. The minimum award amount is $1,500, and is capped at 50% of total eligible revenue losses and expenses or $250,000, whichever amount is less. No applicant is guaranteed a grant. Applications will be accepted through this Friday, and applicants will be notified of their status by December 30th. More information on the program can be found here.
