While a few wrestling tournaments were postponed over the weekend due to weather, the Sigourney-Keota grapplers were able to get their home tournament in and the Cobras placed sixth as a team.
The Cobras compiled 53 points and Lisbon won the six-team tournament with 179 points. Jack Clarahan had the top finish by placing second at 160 lbs. He won his first three matches by a 15-2 major decision, a fall in 4:13, a fall in 2:12, and then fell in the championship 16-9. Cade Streigle went 1-2 on the day to place third at 220 lbs. Fourth place Cobras included DJ Hammes at 120 lbs, Talon Zickefoose at 138 lbs, and Aidan Schuster at 182 lbs.
