Another Little Hawkeye Conference foe is on tap for the Washington boys’ basketball team, as they look to get back in the win column tonight hosting Oskaloosa.

The Demons are 1-1 and they will try to shake off a 87-55 loss to Pella last week. Guards Ethan Patterson and Kasen Bailey have been a dangerous one-two punch in the early going with 18.5 and 18 points per game, respectively. Trashaun Willis has tallied 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds a night. Oskaloosa is 1-2 and with the loss of graduated five-star recruit Xavier Foster, the Indians have struggled to score averaging just 41 points a contest. Keaton Flaherty is averaging double figures with 12 points and five rebounds a night. A Demon win would be a long time coming, as the Indians have won all eight meetings dating back to 2014.

The showdown gets underway at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Washington and listen to all of the action on FM 106.1 KCII.
