Discussion of fireworks permit fees is among the items slated for Monday night’s Riverside City Council meeting.

The agenda also includes updates from MMS Consultants on the Fourth Street improvements which the council will also consider the closeout agreement and final acceptance for the project’s improvements.  MMS will also give an update on Riverside’s Safe Routes to School projects. The City received a $90,000 “Safe Route to Schools” grant to make improvements from Ellis Street at the intersection of Highway 22 near Casey’s General Store all the way to Riverside Elementary to make the route safer for kids to walk to school.

The Riverside Volunteer Fire Department report for the month of November is also on the agenda. The Council meets at 6:00 p.m. at the Riverside Fire Department and can be viewed live at www.riversideiowa.gov.
