The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team is back on the floor tonight when they host Northeast Goose Lake for their final game before the holiday break. The Golden Hawks are 4-4 overall after a loss to No. 6 West Liberty on Monday 61-26. Mid-Prairie got 10 points from Maddie Nonnenmann in the loss. On the season, the Hawks are led by Nonnenmann at 13 points per game. She also averages seven rebounds per game. Amara Jones averages a team best three assists per game and Myah Lugar leads the Hawks with three steals per contest.

Northeast Goose Lake is 1-3 on the year. They have not played since a December 5th loss to Calamus-Wheatland 51-49. On the year the Rebels are led by Emma Folwer and Ellie Rickertsen at nine points per game. Fowler leads Northeast on the glass at six boards per game. Alexis Ehlers leads the Rebels with two assists and two steals per game. The Rebels beat the Golden Hawks last year 60-47 in Goose Lake.
