The first half of the season concluded for the Washington girls’ basketball team last week and the Demons were on the short end of a 55-41 affair at Fort Madison.
The Bloodhounds (6-1) were methodical in this one by taking an 11-7 advantage after one, 22-13 at the break, and stretched it out to 38-22 after three to put the game on ice. Anna Nacos was a bright spot for the Washington offense with 21 points on the night.
The Demons head into the break 0-8 and resume play January 4th at Burlington.
