A Washington man was recently arrested for allegedly violating his probation on a felony drug charge.
According to the Washington County Communications Center, 43-year-old John Edward Walling was arrested by the sheriff’s office at about 3:53 p.m. on December 23rd at Dollar General in Brighton as he was found fighting with another person in a vehicle. Walling was arrested on a warrant for probation revocation that was issued last July. He was originally convicted for possession of a controlled substance – third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, for a May 10, 2018 incident. He was transported to the county jail on a $5,000 cash-only bond. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
