The Keota Eagle boys basketball team has made their living so far this season, by making their opponent’s lives on offense miserable. The Eagles are ranked second in class 1A, averaging five blocked shots per game. They are led in the category by senior Wyatt Sieren, who is ninth in 1A with 19 total blocks on the year.
The Eagles are also ranked fifth in class 1A with 120 steals on the season, averaging 15 per contest. Senior Carson Sprouse leads Keota in the category with 32 steals for the year, seventh most in class 1A. They are surrendering just 34 points per game. Keota cracked the class 1A top 10 in this week’s poll from the Associated Press, checking in at No. 9. The Eagles are a perfect 8-0 on the season.
