The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team has been lighting up the nets through the first nine games of the campaign. The Hawks are ninth best in the state in class 3A, shooting 41.6% from the floor. They are led by senior center Phelan Hostetler and her 63.5% clip for the season. That mark is third best in class 3A for players who have attempted at least 50 shots this year. The Golden Hawks are averaging 45 points per game through their first nine contests. They will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Wilton in a River Valley Conference contest.
