An Oskaloosa woman was arrested Sunday on a Washington County warrant.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, a caller reported locating a person on a warrant at about 8:12 p.m. in the 200 block of High Avenue E in Oskaloosa. A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the Mahaska County Jail to transport 38-year-old Shawna Kathleen Patzel at about 10:46 p.m. on charges of possession of contraband in a correctional institution, a class D felony, and possession of a controlled substance second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor, for a March 15th incident. Patzel is being held on a $7,000 cash-only bond. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
