The Washington City Council will hold a special session to discuss and consider action regarding filling the vacancy of the Ward 3 council seat during their regular meeting tonight.
The regular meeting will include a public hearing followed by a resolution for the fiscal year 2022-2025 capital improvements plan, an appointment to the Hotel/Motel Tax Committee, and consideration of a memorandum of understanding between the police department and the county public health department to serve as a closed point of distribution clinic for dispensing vaccinations. The Council will also consider approving a riverboat foundation municipal grant request for next fiscal year, considering a second reading of ordinances to change certain yield signs to stop signs and amend parking regulations, and hold a workshop on Freedom of Information Act guidelines and fee structure.
The Council’s regular meeting starts at 6 p.m., with the special session at 6:45 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
