The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls wrestling team was in tournament action Monday at Anamosa. Mid-Prairie had one champion on the day with Madison Kelly winning the title in the 7D division. She claimed the championship with a fall over Maci Goodell of Vinton-Shellsburg in just 19 seconds. Other top finishes for the Golden Hawks include runners-up Bronwyn Brenneman and Sarah Meader. The Mid-Prairie wrestling team will next be in action Thursday when they travel to Northeast Goose Lake for a River Valley Conference quadrangular.
