A Washington man was recently arrested on warrants for violating his probation.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, 23-year-old Brandon James Ferdig was arrested in Des Moines County on two warrants of probation violation for forgery and third degree theft convictions. Ferdig was transported to the Des Moines County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond. The theft conviction stems from a February 6th, 2019 incident, and the forgery conviction stems from a July 1, 2019 incident when Ferdig tried to cash a check that hadn’t been written out to him.
