The kid is nicknamed “The Renaissance Man” for a reason. Washington’s Ethan Zieglowsky is a man of many talents in the arts and athletics and the junior showed off one of those talents on the bowling lanes last week when he rewrote the school record books.

Zieglowsky bowled an eye-popping 289 game and 470 series at Iris Bowling Center in Mount Pleasant during their Southeast Conference dual against the Panthers. The junior started the second game with 10 straight strikes before a spare in the final frame. Both of those totals set new school records at Washington and Zieglowsky blew the rest of the competition away by 113 pins. The Demons fell in the team totals by a score of 2294 to 1875 pins. Other Washington performances included Caleb Zieglowsky fourth with a two-game score of 338, Aidan Miller ninth with 198, Erika Williams 10th with 162, and Zakkary Hesseltine 11th with 107.
