A Coralville woman was arrested for probation violation on a Washington County offense Sunday evening.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, 38-year-old Shantel Olivia Forrest was found in custody in the city of Vinton wanted out of Washington County. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded and arrested Forrest for probation violation filed on December 21st for an original conviction from November 17, 2016 of possession of five kilograms or less of a controlled substance, a class C felony. Forrest is being held on a $15,000 cash-only bond at the Washington County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
