Jumping out to a comfortable early lead allowed plenty of playing time for everyone in a road boys’ matchup for Washington on Tuesday in a 67-48 blowout win over Davis County.
The Demons hurried out to a 17-8 advantage after one and 34-13 at the break before an even second half where every player got in. Kasen Bailey was efficient knocking down nine of 13 shots for a game-high 23 points and dishing out six assists. Trashaun Willis and Travis Leyden each added 10 points while Lance Sobaski hauled in eight boards. Washington out rebounded Davis County 31-21.
The Mustangs are 7-6 and the Demons improve to 9-3. They put their four-game win streak on the line tomorrow against Mount Pleasant (7-6).
