It was all Wapello on Friday night in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference girls’ basketball game in Riverside when the Arrows jumped all over Highland for a 67-29 win.

Wapello won every quarter including a quick 18-2 lead after one and 29-10 at the break. A 24-8 third quarter put the game out of reach. Toni Bohlen led the Arrows with 18 points on six made shots from behind the arc. Dani Laughlin led the Huskies with 13 points and five steals. Emma Soukup added six points and Sarah Burton had five rebounds. The boys’ game was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Arrows improve to 7-8 and the Huskies drop to 1-9.
