The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team suffered a setback Friday night in Camanche 66-51. The Indians started the game fast, leading 14-4 after one quarter and 31-15 at half. Mid-Prairie outscored Camanche 36-35 in the second half but couldn’t put together a run to get back into the contest. The Indians outrebounded Mid-Prairie 35-28 and won the turnover battle 12-7. They were led by Jordan Lawrence with 24 points and Zach Erwin with 20. Top scorer for Mid-Prairie was Carter Harmsen with 14, Aidan Rath added 13. With the loss, Mid-Prairie is now 8-4 on the season.
