A snow emergency continues for the City of Washington until Wednesday morning as city, county, and state road crews continue to respond to Monday night’s winter storm.

The KCII Severe Weather Action Team measured 8.25 inches of snow at the radio station in Washington, while the National Weather Service shows one snow report in the county of 5.2 inches in Washington. The Winter Storm Warning is set to expire at noon today, while the City of Washington’s snow emergency is in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday, prohibiting vehicle parking on city streets or alleys during this time unless the snow has been removed or plowed and the snow has ceased to fall.
