The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team finishes the dual calendar tonight when they travel to Clear Creek Amana for a quadrangular with Central DeWitt, Mount Vernon and the Clippers. The Golden Hawks come into the night with an overall dual record of 12-10 on the year. They dropped two of three duals on Senior Night a week ago in Wellman, falling to RVC foes Wilton and West Liberty and getting a win over Durant. On the season, the Golden Hawks are led by Josh Wallington with a 32-3 record. The senior recorded his 100th career victory last week against Wilton. Senior Ben Meader at 182 has 31 wins this year, and juniors Cael Garvey and Gannon Callahan at 195 and 285 respectively each have 28 victories.

Central DeWitt comes in with a 12-4 record on the season. They were last in action Saturday at the Louisa-Muscatine tournament where they took home the team title with 203.5 points. The Sabres had three champions on the day with Robert Howard at 132, Carter Donovan at 145 and Sam Gravert at 285. They have one ranked wrestler in their lineup according to thepredicament.com with senior Keaton Zeimet No. 3 in class 2A at 120lbs.

Mount Vernon is 9-10 this season. The Mustangs split a triangular, beat Marion and falling to Solon last time out. Mount Vernon has one ranked wrestler in their lineup with senior Keenan Kamerling No. 2 at 285lbs in class 2A.

Clear Creek Amana is 1-9 this year. The Clippers were last in dual action January 9th when they beat Clinton but fell to Western Dubuque and Cedar Rapids Xavier in a quad. Action starts tonight at 6p.m. at Clear Creek Amana High School.
