A Winter Weather Advisory has been extended this weekend for parts of southeast Iowa.

The National Weather Service Quad Cities Office issued the advisory in effect from now until 3 p.m. Sunday for Washington, Keokuk, Jefferson, and Henry counties, with mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch are predicted. Motorists are advised to plan on slippery road conditions, and to slow down and use caution while traveling. Listen to KCII for weather, road condition, and cancellation updates.
