Fresh off a sweep of competition on senior night, Washington grappler Ayden Frazer carried that momentum into the next day by claiming a championship at the Southern Iowa Classic in Fairfield.

The 182 pound senior went a perfect 3-0 on Friday by winning a 5-0 decision, a pin in 1:51, and making quick work in the finals with a fall in 1:02. Frazer helped the Demons to score 63 points on the evening to place 12th while Ottumwa won the annual event with 144. Jacob Miller went 3-1 at 138 lbs to place fifth, Curtis Stender went 2-1 at 195 lbs to capture fifth, and Chase Greiner was sixth at 160 lbs with a 3-2 night.

The Demons now gear up for the postseason with sectionals on Saturday at Davenport Assumption.
