The No. 9 ranked Pekin Panther boys basketball team traveled to Columbus Thursday and recorded a road win over the Wildcats 75-27. Pekin started fast and never looked back, putting together a 15-6 run that lasted the entire first quarter. They outscored the Wildcats 22-6 in the second to lead 37-12 at half. Pekin kept their foot on the gas pedal in the second half, winning the third quarter 22-10 and fourth 16-5. Brody Frost led the Wildcats with seven points. Pekin is now 16-1 on the season as the Wildcats fall to 1-14.
