A Kalona teenager was arrested for burglary and drug paraphernalia charges Monday.
According to the Washington County Communications Center, at about 7:10 p.m. in the 300 block of A Place, a sheriff’s deputy executed an arrest warrant on 18-year-old Austin Vandenburg for third degree burglary, a class D felony. The deputy also charged Vandenburg for possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Vandenburg was transported to the Washington County Jail on a $5,000 cash-only bond.
