The Washington County Fair is planning to be back in full force this July, after having 4-H and FFA exhibitors as the sole focus of last year’s fair because of COVID-19.
Fair Board President John Wagner and Vice President Kurt Dallmeyer informed the Board of Supervisors of their plans during this week’s meeting, which include entertainment such as a tractor pull, rodeo, demolition derby, and motocross races. There will also be new events including the Axe Women Loggers of Maine who will have shows on July 19th-22nd as well as an axe throwing booth and an escape room, and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Memorial which had visited the fair a few years ago. The fair takes place July 18th-23rd.
