The National Weather Service Quad Cities Office states that areas of blowing and drifting snow are expected, with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour. The strongest gusts are expected during mid to late Friday morning. Slippery road conditions are expected, and blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility at times in open and rural areas.
