Budget items are expected to headline tomorrow night’s special meeting of the Riverside City Council.

The agenda includes a budget work session and a resolution to set the public hearing for the fiscal year 2022 proposed budget which City Administrator Christine Yancey says will likely be March 1st. She says the budget will be based on a tax rate that will not change for Riverside residents. The council is also scheduled to review budget numbers, water rates and capital improvement projects.

The special session starts at 6 p.m. Monday at the Riverside Fire Department and can be viewed live at riversideiowa.org.
