The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team is peaking at the right time, as they see their current winning streak hit four in the final week of the regular season with a 56-38 victory over visiting Durant on Tuesday in Wellman. Mid-Prairie methodically pulled away in the contest, leading 14-7 after the first quarter and 29-16 at half. The Hawks put the game away by winning the third quarter 17-9. Aidan Rath dominated inside with 22 points on seven of eight shooting. Carter Harmsen added 10 points. The Hawks pulled down 30 rebounds, dished out 17 assists and had 15 steals while completing a season sweep of Durant. With the win, Mid-Prairie is now 13-6 on the year as they get ready for No. 10 West Branch on Thursday in Wellman.
