The KCII listening area will be well represented on the mat this week at the state wrestling tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

The Washington Demons will send Ayden Frazer to the state capital to compete at 182lbs. Three Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks will wrestle at state this week with Ben Meader at 182lbs, Cael Garvey at 195lbs and Josh Wallington at 220lbs all qualifying.

The Highland Huskies will have Easton Schlabaugh in action at 106lbs and Bryce Thompson at 113lbs. A pair of Sigourney-Keota Cobras will be in Des Moines with Cade Molyneux at 170lbs and Cade Streigle at 195lbs. Two Columbus Wildcats will be at state with Lane Scorpil at 113lbs and Chance Malone at 285lbs. Landon Provino will represent the WACO Warriors at state at 285lbs.
