Welcome To Riverside

Two items related to law enforcement are on the agenda for tonight’s Riverside City Council meeting.

The council is scheduled to hear a report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and then could pass a resolution to approve a contract and agreement for law enforcement services with the county.  Also on the agenda is the introduction of four new members of the Riverside Volunteer Fire Department and a discussion of Iowa legislative SF(senate file) 159 regarding the school voucher program.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Riverside Fire Department. Masks and social distancing are required to attend in person. The meeting will also be live streamed at www.riversideiowa.gov.
