The KCII Spring Home Shopping Extravaganza is taking over the airwaves this week, with savings to be reaped on local services, entertainment, and more.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with an extra hour from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday. KCII will be selling items with varying discounts throughout the week such as gift certificates to local businesses, parks and recreation passes, jewelry, and more. KCII General Manager Joe Nichols warns not to play the long game on some items, “One thing I remind people of is some things we have very limited items, right? And so if you’re trying to wait and see if you could save a little money, you might not save any because we might sell out. So just something to keep in mind is some items [are] very limited as to what we have.”
Nichols advises newcomers that phone lines will frequently be busy during the event, but to keep trying to get through. The best time to call is when another caller on-air hangs up. For a list of the home shopping items, visit here.
