A Mount Pleasant man arrested in Washington Tuesday faces charges in multiple counties.
According to the Washington County Communications Center, 28-year-old Nicholas Wesley Hill allegedly tried to enter a vehicle that wasn’t his in the 600 block of East 2nd Street at about 5:01 a.m. The Washington Police Department responded and transported Hill to the Washington County Hospital. Hill was then arrested for second degree burglary, a class C felony, and public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.
He is also wanted out of Mount Pleasant on three warrants for domestic assault third offense, violation of probation, and domestic abuse assault third or subsequent offense. Bonds of $7,000 cash only and $5,000 cash or surety were issued for Hill. He is also wanted out of Linn County for failure to appear for an initial appearance on charges of attempting to elude and interference with official acts, for which a $3,000 cash only bond was issued.
