Tomorrow is the deadline to register for the Greater Washington Business Partnership Dinner, with different options on how to participate.
The event is hosted by the Washington Economic Development Group, Washington Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street Washington. Chamber Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says this year you can choose a “watch party” dinner option at one of five restaurants in the county, “grab and go gala,” where you can take your meal to-go from one of those restaurants and receive a link to watch the program at home, or “sofa soiree,” which simply gives you the program link, “We just decided this year to spread it out amongst the local restaurants. And that way people can kind of choose which place they want to watch from and do a watch party of the video program that we’re going to be showing. Very short, 30-minute long program just showing recognition of our businesses in the area and kind of just some short updates about what the organizations have done this past year.”
The video program will announce the annual business, citizen, and volunteer of the year and Harvey Holden Special Service awards. The presentation will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, March 8th, with dinner at the participating restaurants beginning at 6:30 p.m. and doors opening at 5:30.
