Several agencies responded to a two-vehicle incident east of Wellman Friday morning.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, the incident occurred at about 6:29 a.m. on Hickory Avenue and Highway 22. Drivers involved were Halli Marie Hershberger of Wellman and Jamie Overholt of Wellman, and over $1,500 worth of damage was estimated to the vehicles. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Wellman Fire and Rescue, Washington County Ambulance, and Earl’s Towing responded to the scene.
