The Washington boys and girls track teams will see their first live action of the spring sports season Tuesday when they travel to the Mapleleaf Athletic Complex in Mount Pleasant for a co-ed scrimmage.

Demon head boys track coach Steve Roth tells KCII sports that the meet will include nine total events, five running events, the 60m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m and four field events, the shotput, discus, long jump and high jump.

In attendance along with the Demons will be Burlington, West Burlington/Notre Dame and the homestanding Panthers. Spectators are welcome to attend. Masks are required. Action gets underway at 4p.m  and continues into the evening in Mount Pleasant.
