A Mount Pleasant man was arrested for drug offenses by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, a warrant was executed for 35-year-old Edward Leroy Wixom. He is charged with possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine, a class B felony, and failure to affix drug stamp, a class D felony, for a February 6th incident. A $30,000 cash-only bond was issued for Wixom. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
