One Highland volleyball player recently put pen to paper her plans to play at the next level.
Kayla Cerny signed recently to play volleyball at Cornell College in Mount Vernon. The senior was recognized as honorable mention this past fall in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference and led the Huskies with 90 kills. She racked up 86 digs and was successful on 88% of her serves.
Cerny joins a Rams program that has dominated the Division III Midwest Conference in the last decade, as they have just two league losses since 2012.
