A tornado warning was briefly issued for Washington County Tuesday night.
The National Weather Service Quad Cities Office issued the warning for the north central portion of the county at 7:40 p.m. and was cancelled at about 8 p.m. This was a radar indicated warning, with the storm spotted near Richmond moving north at 25 miles per hour. Five members of the KCII Severe Weather Action Team brought live coverage during the warning, and had the power gone out, KCII would stay on the air with our backup generator.
