Two Cedar Rapids residents were arrested on several charges after a traffic stop that occurred in Riverside early Wednesday morning.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies performed a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Rogue at 3070 Highway 22. A Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy also responded, and 31-year-old Brett Thomas Kriz and 25-year-old Tessa Rayanne Kindred were both arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, tax stamp violation, possession of marijuana, fraud false information and identification, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kriz was also charged with driving with a revoked license, and a detainer was placed with the Iowa City Police Department for a warrant on Kindred for failure to appear for arraignment on a charge of child endangerment and domestic abuse assault.
