There are only a few days left to get on the Easter Bunny’s V.I.P. list in Washington for a new event being hosted by the Kiwanis AM’ers organization.

Instead of hosting an egg hunt, the AM’ers will be helping the Easter Bunny deliver eggs to homes within the Washington city limits for their “Egg My Yard” program. Cost is $30 to get 30 eggs scattered around a participant’s home, and those who live in an apartment will receive a golden bag of eggs with a note from the Easter Bunny. AM’ers President Tammy Valentine says the group hopes to make this an annual event, “It’s our newest fundraiser and so we’re very excited that this is very COVID friendly. Everybody is very happy doing this. It just brings smiles when we do our Zoom meetings. Everybody is just very excited to do this, and I think all the parents that have signed up are also very excited. Everybody’s very busy and so it’ll be a very nice surprise for the children those mornings.”

Residents can sign up to have their yard “egged” on Saturday April 3rd, or Sunday April 4th, and in case of inclement weather, the eggs will also be delivered in golden bags at residents’ doorsteps.
