A Wellman man was arrested Tuesday on an Iowa County warrant.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, at 10:52 a.m. sheriff’s deputies arrested 49-year-old Steven Michael Davis for allegedly violating his three-year probation sentence on a conviction of sex offender registration verification violation, second or subsequent offense, a class D felony. Davis was transported to the county line where Iowa County sheriff’s deputies took custody. A $5,000 cash-only bond was issued for Davis. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
