A proposed five-year strategic plan for the Washington Police Department will be considered during the Washington City Council meeting Tuesday.
The meeting will include a public hearing on vacating the 200 block east-west alley between South 2nd and South 3rd avenues followed by a possible first reading of an ordinance to vacate that portion, and consideration of a resolution to close the portion. The council will also consider setting a public hearing date for a possible development agreement with Bazooka Farmstar, Inc., a resolution for Wellness Park operational agreements, and the third reading to amend the city’s animal protection and control ordinance.
The council meets at 6 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
