Organizations can now apply for the Washington County Riverboat Foundation’s 2021 large grant cycle.

The foundation, which is the nonprofit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, distributes 75% of the annual donations it receives from the casino through their competitive grant fund. The foundation is holding a spring small grant cycle for which they plan to announce the recipients on May 13th, and applications for the large grant cycle are due by 5 p.m. June 5th. Areas of special interest that the foundation considers include community development and beautification, economic development, education and arts, and human and social needs. Groups that can apply include governmental units like cities, counties, schools, and hospitals, charitable, social welfare, and veterans organizations, and business leagues.
