The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track and field team will be in Tiffin Friday for the annual Creek Classic girls meet. Mid-Prairie was in action Tuesday at the Raider Relays in Williamsburg. They placed second of 13 teams, posting 114 points. The Golden Hawks had four event championships on the night including Ana Fleming winning the 3000, Maddie Edgington the 100, Mitzi Evans the 800 and the sprint medley team of Edgington, Amara Jones, Evans and Amber Swart was also a winner. Mid-Prairie will be joined at the meet by BGM, Benton, Cedar Rapids Xavier, Durant, English Valleys, Independence, Iowa Valley, Mount Vernon, North Linn, Pekin, Solon, West Branch, West Liberty and the homestanding Clippers. Action starts tonight at 4:30 at Clear Creek High School.
